Can someone out there tell me that I’m not disgusting?

I discarded all these. Can you imagine I was actually still keeping my exercise books of primary school?

I found strength to clear all the rubbish stored in my room some time ago.

At times, I really think that I can be more than an engineer; I am artistic.   Look at my artworks done during secondary school:-

Art Works

Driving-dummy

Me: *Sigh* I knocked someone’s car just now…

Tricia: Huh? Again?!

Kevin: If I have a daughter like you, I’ll kill her.

I hope I won’t get into trouble by publishing this

I did the PAPI test.

I’m keen to show you guys the result, hoping you all to give me feedback whether the result is reflecting the real character of Samantha. To me, the test is 92++% reflective!

But I doubt whether I can publish the result sheet legally actually… I saw this message on the sheet, “No part of this documentation may be reproduced, stored in a retrieval system, or transmitted in any form of by any means, electronic, mechanical, photocopying or otherwise without the written permission of PA Consulting Group.”

I don’t wish to get into the copyright shit, so I’ll just “describe” the result.

So, what do you think?

Not a typical boring day

Today appeared to be another dull day at first, not until I received an email from Sue.

The message conveyed totally brightened the day for me:-

Congratulations! You are one of the Top 20 winners for MAGGI MEE SALUTES YOU Contest held from Feb-Apr 2007 on www.maggi.com.my

You are cordially invited to attend the Prize Giving Ceremony.  There will be media present and a light lunch will be served after the ceremony.

Remember when I was saying that I shot a stupid video and then was finding someone to be my cast for another plot that I had in mind? Sue had taken up initiative to transform my brainchild into a video and see what she has achieved! Congrats, Sue!

P.S: Here’s the 2nd chance if you haven’t watched the video: http://www.maggi.com.my/salutesContest/fans/comment.htm?videoid=157

Ah Lun might be star-scouted oh!

Who will still need enemies when you have friends like them? 有他们这种朋友,我还需要敌人吗?- Preface

A happy story should be written with happy mood, but I was so moody and pissed off last week, that’s what made this and the forthcoming entries overdue ones.

Missing all these monsters…

P.S: I have very little to depict further actually, Sue has already given a good overview about my most recent trip to Singapore Zoo.

The people from Kuala Kangsar should be very good in swimming or diving – Part 2: Getting injured & 少林功夫好嘢

Once upon a time, there was one dumb girl. She got her knee injured (on top of her first injury as elaborated here) while she was running happily towards the Keris Monument in Kuala Kangsar. The pain was so great that she couldn’t walk much after the tragedy.

Then, her friends brought her to the Sensei:-

Don’t play play! The sensei was from Shaolin!

Aftermath: The bandage was ugly!

The people from Kuala Kangsar should be very good in swimming or diving – Part 1: Jalan-jalan, cari makan

Billy is a guy who masters the art of bluffing!

The best 猪肉粉 in Kepong! Thumbs up!

Once we reached Kuala Kangsar, our car was blocked by 2 police officers. Their dignities worth RM10 each only!
Me and Sin Eee stayed at “SU EE LODGE”  5-star service and facilities!

On 28 April, our journey began after taking breakfast.

Locations of all the interesting places in Kuala Kangsar.

We left our footprints at the following places. Me very malas mau elaborate, go to this site if you wish to go into details about the places of  interest :-

(3) The Clock Tower

Billy claimed that, there was a severe flood in 1967, almost the whole tower was submerged by flood water. The 3 of us burst out laughing. If Billy did not bluff, then the people who survived the flood must be very good in swimming or diving!

(4) The oldest rubber tree

Can you hear what the tree was singing: Lonely… I’m so lonely… I have nobody… To call my own….

You all better be convinced that I’M SLIM! (from behind)
(10) The Iskandar Bridge
Billy proudly affirmed, “Not a single nail was used to construct this bridge!”
After a moment of bewilderment, I asked, “Why do we need nails when it is a concrete structure?!”

The so-called not-using-a-single-nail-bridge!

(13) The Keris monument

I won’t forget this place forever! Something traumatic happened, but I’m not gonna tell the story now…

The tragic place…

The loving couple

(15) The Malay College

If you did struggle for your SPM History, you should find this name familiar. Tun Hussein Onn’s papa, Dato Onn Jaafar studied here before.

The Malay College=the father of Tun Hussein Onn University of Malaysia!

Fiat Sapienta Virtus… Haha! I dont understand 2 1/2 of the words! Sapienta should mean something related to Homo sapiens gua…

(16) The Ubudiah Mosque

I heard Billy pronouced it as “Masjid Ku-ku-diah”!

The graveyard for the royal families and nobles.

(23) The Royal Museum a.k.a Istana Kenangan

This palace was built without a blueprint nor a single nail. (It seemed that all the fabuluos buildings/structures in Kuala Kangsar were of the same feature! )

To me, this building looked so cardboard!

A stroll along Perak River

Tranquil scene

Dengan sukacita dimaklumkan bahawa it’s an undeniable fact that I possess great sense of phototography!

The best Asam Laksa!

There are Labu Sayong aplenty for all of you.

The most selamba cat! Look at the way it slept! It most probably forgot that it’s actually a CAT!

On the evening, we departed to Ipoh. What happened next were as summarized in the slide show below:-

Last but not least, may I present to you, the best photo of the trip!!!

I wonder how many people will throw up seeing this photo….

Vanakam

Samantha sounds Indian actually.

The following scene took place without my presence:-

My colleague: I’ll go on leave next week, in case of anything, you may contact another engineer. Neh, the girl, Samantha who sent you the email that day.

Someone: Huh? Samantha’s a girl ar?! Must be an Indian, rite?

1 count of jealousy and 1 count of suspicion

The jealousy

Someone lucky has just walked away with RM7500 for solving Fly FM’s Wake Up Your Brain!!!!

The question = what do you think it is when:-

3% of women say they can’t live without this.

After so many wrong answers have been given, that supremely lucky someone finally got it right:

The newspaper!

Fuiyo! Jealous-nya! RM7500 le!!!

The suspicion

I really planned to call to give it a try, and even have printed out the wrong answers and was racking my brain for the possible answers around SCENTED CANDLE, because I swear I heard the DJ mentioned “Oh! It’s so close!” when someone earlier on gave the answer of “SCENTED CANDLE”! I think something fishy was going on; did newspaper have anything to do with scented candle?

I spot you, creativity!

Inside the glass bottle…

“I want to walk tall, believe in myself, have the courage to ask for what I want and need, and live a life that mattered. I want to wake up in the morning with a smile on my face and know that I am loved and that I belonged. I am desperate to feel worthy and I am hungry for the opportunity to live my fullest potential.” - modified from "The Dark Side of the Light Chasers" - Debbie Ford

Under the apple tree…

"If you are not spending all of your waking life in discontent, worry, anxiety, depression, despair, or consumed by other negative states; if you are able to enjoy simple things like listening to the sound of the rain or the wind; if you can see the beauty of clouds moving across the sky or be alone at times without feeling lonely or needing the mental stimulus of entertainment; if you find yourself treating a complete stranger with heartfelt kindness without wanting anything from him or her... it means that a space has opened up, no matter how briefly, in the otherwise incessant stream of thinking that is the human mind." - A New Earth, by Eckhart Tolle

Inspiring quotes!

If someone prays for patience, you think God gives them patience? Or does he give them the opportunity to be patient? If he prayed for courage, does God give him courage, or does he give him opportunities to be courageous? If someone prayed for the family to be closer, do you think God zaps them with warm fuzzy feelings, or does he give them opportunities to love each other? (God in "Evan Almighthy")
“To love another person is to see the face of God.” ― Victor Hugo, Les Misérables
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” -Mark Twain
Aggie: "But what about the people who hurt you? Don't you ever want to make them suffer?" Norman Babcock: "Well, yeah, but what good would that do? You think just because there's bad people that there's no good ones either? I thought the same thing for a while. But there's always someone out there for you. Somewhere." - Paranorman
"机遇总是偏爱有准备的人"
“You're only here for a short visit. Don't hurry, don't worry. And be sure to smell the flowers along the way.” by Walter Hagen
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, body totally worn out and screaming "WOOOHOOOO what a ride!" - by anonymous
When you travel, it’s not like you take a part of each place away with you; rather, it’s as if you leave a part of yourself there, like a part of you forever belongs to that place – the time, the people, and the things you saw; and over time, it gets burned deeper into your soul - by anonymous
